So I read a transcript of the oral argument in School District v. Redding. What was Breyer thinking? He was so cavalier as to the discussion of strip searches – equating it to changing for gym class. I remember hating changing in gym class. The gym teacher would make us strip and go through the shower. We had to stand there naked getting our names checked off a sheet. This is one reason we need more diversity on the court. I can just see Breyer reliving his prep school days. Yuck.
